However on a more positive note I wanted to explain my thinking behind the new blog.

So its still a WordPress blog. But its the latest version, no tricks, no themes, just the bog standard.

But the major difference will be the domain name – I have moved it from http://www.supersexyheroines.com/blog/ to this new http://www.superheroinenetwork.com/blog because I felt that it wasn’t logical.

Because I now have SuperSexyHeroines.com, UltraSexyHeroines.com, SuperheroineFilms.com and SuperheroinePeril, I thought it would make sense to use my central website at SuperheroineNetwork.com to blog from.

Make sense? I’m not entirely sure yet, but I guess I can always move it back.

• SuperSexyHeroines – is overdue four updates as of today.
• UltraSexyHeroines – hasn’t had an update since December 2010
• SuperheroineFilms – no new film for a couple of months
• SuperheroinePeril – no new film for a couple of months

I’m a little ashamed, and I’m getting everything updated the next couple of weeks.

Why the lack of updates on SuperSexyHeroines.com? I’ll be honest and say I thought about giving up the website. I had no passion for it anymore, no desire to work with stunning models and talented writers to create the best superheroine comic books.

But, I’ve got my mojo back properly now. 2010 was a bad year for me. But despite a bad start to 2011, things are on the up.

Detractors will speak ill of me, but I’m only being honest. SuperSexyHeroines and the superheroine genre is a passion of mine, not a job. Things in my personal life really affect my other passions and these websites are my passion. If I’m not passionate about it I find it difficult to find the desire to put together these comics. Amazingly, I couldn’t muster the energy in shooting beautiful girls in costumes – what has the world come to!

So what next?

Well last week I did a shoot for which I’m putting the first chapter together now. My mojo is back, and over the weekend I spoke with some absolutely phenomenal girls that want to get involved.

So, an update:

• SuperSexyHeroines.com – working on the comic book chapters now. Should have something by the end of the week. I will fill the backlog with a mix of chapters and photosets
• UltraSexyHeroines.com – the backlog will be filled. I’ve got a DVD here with some photosets that need to be edited and then uploaded. I’ll try and get this done next week.
• SuperheroineFilm.com – the guys that shoot can be more lax than me. I chased them last week for the final films, and so hopefully I’ll be able to release something this month. I’ve seen some of the footage they have and its good.
• SuperheroinePeril.com – again, see above. Will release something early June I think.

So, that’s it. I want to apologise and say sorry to all subscribers. I know some will say all these problems are rooted to my taking over UltraSexyHeroines, SuperheroineFilms and SuperheroinePeril a few months ago. They may be right – it turned from a hobby into a job, and I’m trying to get back some of the passion I had at the beginning.

I’m putting together this post, just to tell you guys what is going on, the problems I’m having, and to address a few questions. I guess the best way to do this is by sectioning this post.

Am I taking on too much?

I would guess it would seem so from where you guys are sitting. Late with the second chapter of Miss Power: Challenge, no new films on SuperheroineFilms and SuperheroinePeril, and as yet, no new content on UltraSexyHeroines.com

I asked myself the same question over the weekend. But, taking an audit of where I was, I don’t think I have. Its true to say that all the websites are run differently than my SuperSexyHeroines website – not just the website, but the way all the content is stored, processed, and updated. So I’m just getting to grips with it all.

So those of you concerned that my SuperSexyHeroines.com website may be affected in terms of the quality of the comics, stories, girls, costumes, updates, etc – please don’t be.

I wouldn’t have taken on these websites if I didn’t think I was able to, if I hadn’t had the assurances of the guys that ran it before, and if I knew that people weren’t interested in those websites any more.

Content and updates

Okay, I’ve been working with the guys that make the SuperheroineFilms.com and SuperheroinePeril.com films. We have new films coming out very soon. i.e. days.

The grand aim is to release two films from each website, per month. But that won’t be happening yet. First of all I am re-editing these films with the help of a video guy, and I am also finding a new special effects guy.

But, please don’t expect miracles yet. What I believe I am good at (believe it or not) is getting the right people into really creating good stuff – i.e. the website, the films, the comics, the photosets, etc.

Things haven’t been as good as they could be and I’ve offered to help to really increase the quality of these websites – and this is my aim at the moment.

But what about UltraSexyHeroines.com

A good and difficult question.

I read in a previous comment that people thought that there was masses of photo content sitting waiting to go up. This isn’t the case and I didn’t mean to mislead people. What they do have is raw un-edited video clips and so I’m trying to get these up and to then back-fill the content so that the website is all up to date.

My aim is to release two UltraSexyHeroines.com updates per week. One photoset and one behind-the-scenes video clip. But, we are a month away from doing that becaus the priority has to be back-filling the content for all those are already subscribing.

I definitely do not think it is a good idea closing it down. I’ve suggested this option to the owner, and they’re not keen on closing and re-opening under a different name as some people suggested. To me that’s dishonest and it suggests that people are stupid – which they’re not. One of the reasons I am doing all this is to make things more transparent.

What I want for UltraSexyHeroines.com is to be THE best superheroine glamour website on the internet. It can be, but it needs some work, and that’s what I’m here to do. Give me a few weeks and you’ll see the changes.

So no merging the websites into one

This was a suggestion I saw, and I dismissed it first of all. But then I was thinking about it, how the revenue could be split among the different people, and how the content could then be paid for.

It then became quite a realistic idea and its something I still think may have a future… but in the distant future. At the moment I’m not even able to update the websites as often as I’d like, and the websites are not all streamlined as I would like.

Maybe in the future it could work, but for now its not a priority.

Props, costumes, etc

Yep, this is something we are now working on. One of the benefits of working together is that we can buy new stuff collectively for all the websites.

We have a new Wonder Woman costume which I’m shooting with in a few weeks – and it looks very good. With the other props, I am very grateful for all the ideas.

Stories and story telling

I think I read a comment where someone pointed out my weakness in story-telling! Yes, I take it all on-board.

Many people have written to me with their own stories for the SuperSexyHeroines.com website, and I would like to invite anyone with a story for any of the websites – SuperSexyHeroines.com, SuperheroineFilms.com and SuperheroinePeril.com – to submit a story and I’ll try and get it converted into a comic book or story.

I’m always grateful to the people that consistently email me stories. Argonaut, DF Fan, Rommel, Roden, TSullivan, Matt C, Alison M, and other people are very generous with their time, effort and ideas.

If I’ve not got round to using their story ideas, I definitely will do soon… especially now that I’m working on all three story-based websites.

Over to you

I’m always grateful for any help. You’re right in thinking that taking on all four websites is a big task, but I think I’ve enough time to get it all running smoothly in the next two months.

However, SuperSexyHeroines has always benefited from input from regular contributors like DF Fan, Argonaut and others. If you have any ideas, suggestions, and maybe even skills that would make the websites better and the genre as a whole better, I’d love to hear from you.

Just seen comments from Gary/Tomas.

This is the same bozo that repeatedly spams this blog nearly every day, telling me how I’m ‘european white trash’, how the website is rubbish, and how I’m ‘fake’. He also insults me with comments about my family, how the website is rubbish, how other websites are much better, and makes racist insinuations.

Its also the same guy that uses software to mask his IP address to hide his location.

He’s cowardly, he’s really annoying and he just doesn’t have anything constructive to say.

I take constructive criticism on the chin – its part of the learning process and making the website and the comic books better. Without any constructive criticism there’d be no need to better the website.

This is the last I’m going to say on Gary/Tomas/Eric/Whatever-your-name-is. I’ve had to deal with his comments for the past two years, and like an annoying sister I guess I’ll have to put up with him for the next two years until he grows up.

I want to issue a challenge to this guy:

Email me and lets have a civil conversation. Tell me what you want from the website – what you like, what you don’t like – and as with any other member I’ll try my best to integrate this into the next comic books. Stop acting like an infant, and behave like an adult.

Oh – a quick note about me having multiple aliases on this blog (Jack Handy!! This is a light-hearted point!) I honestly don’t have any other aliases on this blog. I don’t have the time to partake in discussion myself without posting multiple comments!

This is pretty much my first day back in front of a computer since the new year (and not from the worst hang-over btw!). If you’re not in the UK you won’t know that a flu virus swept over the UK over the Christmas period and I seem to have got it late, probably from my partner.

But I’m back now, and this morning I’m preparing the latest update to the SuperSexyHeroines.com website and also answering all the emails that I got over Christmas.
