My own idea would be something like:

Part 1: Shy girl gains super-powers as a result of some sort of accident or mistake. It might be cool if the powers came from a different source than the usual “magical ring/bracelet”. Maybe a science experiment gone wrong,a serum or potion, or even something cheesey like accidentally eating a new top-secret GM Food as a result of a mix-up (which she then has to eat in future to transform). Anyway, however it happens, the girl transforms into super-sexy version of herself, ideally looking quite physically different in addition to the costume.

Part 2: After learning about her powers, girl turns back to normal, but is then reluctantly forced into using them again when she encounters a robbery etc. (ie. so we get a 2nd transformation scene ) Heroine kicks ass, and wonders if this is the start of a crime-fighting career…

I can’t remember the name off the top of my head, but the story where the girl becomes Supergirl after the mad scientist’s experiment goes wrong is most like what I am thinking of. Its important that the girl receives the powers by accident, and only reluctantly learns to use them.

The best superheroine stories, without a doubt, are watching a meek mild mannered girl gain superpowers and watching her transformation. Love to watch her whip off her glasses and transform into the powerful girl she has become.

Just a few simple ideas superheroine transformation scenarios.

1. Awkward bespectacled middle aged woman is depressed seeing the younger girls around her at work with their beauty and confidence accidently drinks potion that combined with and electrical jolt transforms her body into that of a stunningly sexy younger version of herself Explore how she trys on super sexy tight clothing and her confidence grows and grows then she also discovers the delightful side effect that she has the strength of an army and can rip steel with her bare hands has super speed and agility and can fly like fighter jet she has in fact become the most sexy and powerful woman on the planet.

2. An explosion in a science lab transforms a meek lab assistant into the worlds sexiest superwoman but only when she becomes stressed, angry or scared.

3. A girl is kidnapped and restrained and jokingly wishes to become super sexy and have super powers and her wish is granted. cue ripping of metal chains and smashing of concrete walls…

4. A shy girl is locked down in a basement by bullies and is accidently exposed to meteor rock or radiation down there which transforms her into superwoman.

5. Another thing I like in stories is heroines being trapped then the captor leaving and the heroine being able to change into superwoman etc. Loved the pied piper episode of wonder woman where diana is tied to the spinning chair and has to hold back her transformation till the villan leaves. You could have a heroine tied up and locked in a cupboard and when finally the villan leaves she easily rips apart her restraints and can finally change into superwoman.

Just a few ideas spinning rnd me head…

I like female villians so how about star athlete gets banned for being “enhanced” . Side effects give her powers and heroine has to subdue her.

Sick superheroine(due to radiation, kryptonite, etc) refuses to change back into her secret identity as she feels the illness would kill her mortal self. But overtaxing her powers causes her body to split into 2 . Sort of like having She Hulk vs Jennifer Walters, except Jennifer has the same powers puls the pent up anger of being the”weak” one.

Formicida was one of my favorite Wonder Woman episodes. Loved the idea off meek and mousy doctor giving herself power through ant serum. Rhino Beetles are stronger, so something similar- picturing a red and/or black costume and creating a good girl would be good.
